Carolina Reaper Salsa

While Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa offers a satisfying heat level, the Carolina Reaper version falls short. Despite its name, the heat level is surprisingly mild, leaving my taste buds a little disappointed. The flavor profile is still enjoyable, but the lack of a truly intense heat takes away from the overall experience. If you're seeking a truly fiery salsa, the Ghost Pepper version is a better choice.

I love this salsa. It has a distinct flavor. I wish it was a little spicier but it's still delicious. I can't find it in the stores anymore so I have to order directly from the website.

i wasnt sure if id like this or not as i was told it was quite spicy, the flavor was bland and it has good heat, but much better out there at this standard

As hot as advertised. Nice flavor. Would be even better without the added sugar.

As others have stated here, I find this salsa to be too sweet for my tastes, and honestly not nearly as hot as the Ghost Pepper salsa (but how do you top the perfection in those jars?). Of course to each their own, though, so if sweet heat is your thing, look no further! Mrs. Renfro's is absolutely my salsa provider for life. I would love to see a jar containing undiluted Reaper heat in the future!
